How Does Exposure Affect Saturation?

Exposure affects saturation. It’s as simple as that.

If you're finding the edits to be saturated or struggling with skin tone, exposure is your friend! A lower exposure will pull in more saturation and vice versa, a higher exposure will push out saturation.

This also applies when matching digital images to film scans, match sure your exposure matches. You may need to dial exposure up or down.
